Getting started
Tunerly does not host any TV content. It connects to a
tvheadend server that you run yourself.
You will need the server's host name, port and your tvheadend username and
password.
iPhone / iPad: on the “Add Server” screen, enter the host
(without http:// or https://), the port, turn the
HTTPS switch on if your server uses TLS, then enter your username and
password and save.
Apple TV: there is no manual entry. Choose
Set Up via Browser — the Apple TV shows a URL and QR code; open it
on a phone or computer on the same network, fill in the form and save. Or
choose Add via iPhone to send a server from the Tunerly iPhone app
over your local network.
Tunerly Pro
Tunerly Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase (with Family
Sharing). It unlocks the Recorder (DVR) and Server Status tabs and lets you
add more than one server. There is no subscription. If you reinstall the app
or use a new device, open the purchase screen and tap
Restore Purchases.
Troubleshooting
Can’t connect: confirm the host and port are correct and
that the HTTPS switch matches your server. Make sure your device can reach
the server (same network, VPN, or a publicly reachable address).
Browser setup on Apple TV doesn’t appear: the phone or
computer must be on the same local network as the Apple TV.
“Add via iPhone” shows no devices: both devices must be
on the same Wi-Fi, and the iPhone must have tapped “Send to Apple TV”.
No channels or EPG: verify the channels and the EPG
grabber are configured on your tvheadend server itself.
